A turnkey home is a fully completed home built from the ground up—from the basement footer to the final finishing touches—with all essential systems in place and fully functional. On the exterior, we handle everything needed to make your home complete, including the driveway, septic system, water supply, utility hookups, and final grading. All necessary utilities are run to the home so everything is ready for immediate use. Your only responsibility is selecting the finishes and features that make your home uniquely yours. From there, you can sit back, relax, and watch your new home come to life—ready for you to move in upon completion.

Do you offer custom home-building projects?

At Hartford Homes, we offer a wide range of options to fit your needs and vision. You can choose from one of our existing model homes and keep most of the standard features and floor plans, or make modifications to better suit your lifestyle. As a full custom home builder, you also have the option to bring us your own drawings or ideas, and we will work with you to design and build a completely custom home tailored specifically to your needs. No matter the path you choose, we’re here to help bring your vision to life.

What is your average project timeframe?

The average home-building project takes approximately five months from the time the basement is excavated until the home is completed and ready for move-in. The exact timeline can vary depending on factors such as the location of the project, weather conditions, site requirements, and the level of customization involved in the home design. Throughout the process, our team will keep you informed and work diligently to ensure your home is completed as efficiently as possible without compromising quality.

Do you offer a cleanup service when a home is finished?

A cleaning service is provided once a house has been completed. Our crew will make sure the house sparkles and is ready to move in.

Hartford Homes services a majority of Ohio. We can determine if you are eligible for a turnkey home if you contact us and provide your destined location.
